An alkaline inline filter that is 2.5 inch in outside diameter and 12" in length. Using two clips (included) it will attach to the postcarbon filter. The media may have similar life to an RO membrane; so change both elements every 2 years. The weight of this filter is 2 lb 3 oz.
By adding this inline filter as final stage in RO system, you get the optimum benefit of the alkaline-mineral media. With this addition, you turn your existing reverse osmosis system into a spring water source with all alkaline and antioxidant qualities.
This alkaline antioxidant filter provides abundant Active Hydrogen. It also increases reduction power by increasing pH, making small water cluster and providing beneficial minerals such as calcium, magnesium, potassium and sodium.
The alkaline filter has the following media: neodymium magnate, quartz, calCor, tourmaline, negative ions, Pi-Water, super ceramic, almandine garnet and KDF55 in addition to pads at entrance and exit of the filter. That is 11-stage inline filter that may be accurately described as natural alkalizer/ionizer/mineralizer/oxidizer!
When you order this filter, you get two 1/4" FTP Fittings (Item: AMC0404W) and two 2.0"x2.5" double clip.
Using a short 2.5-inch tube (included), the alkaline filter will connect to the inline post carbon filter. Some people prefer to keep this filter as separate from the RO system and to mount it on the wall or side of the cabinet. In this case, the line going to the faucet can be cut and the alkaline filter is connected there. For mounting the alkaline filter, a single filter clip 2.5" (not provided) with a screw can be used.
